As a Gestalt psychotherapist, I focus on individual therapy and group therapy. For me, these are two fundamentally different types of therapy that always complement each other, but also work well separately and help with a wide variety of requests that clients come to me with.
Here I will briefly talk about individual and group psychotherapy, and you can follow the links here and learn more to decide (and feel in your heart) what suits you best right now.
Individual psychotherapy
Face to face, therapist and client, in very close relationships, go through important and complex processes in personal, individual psychotherapy. Often, very long-term – up to several years. Individual therapy often scares people, because you essentially need to bare your soul for therapy to happen. And this is scary – after all, in front of you at the very beginning is a complete stranger, to whom you need to trust the most-most. Nevertheless, this type of therapy has a very big influence on the person who dared to go through this deep process.
To understand more about individual therapy, I recommend reading my articles about it, where I share not only professional moments, but also my personal experience, which may be especially valuable for you:

Group psychotherapy
Group psychotherapy, in my opinion, has a number of advantages over individual therapy:
- Group psychotherapy is always cheaper than individual psychotherapy
- Group psychotherapy helps to better understand other people, in a group you can often remain invisible and silent, giving yourself the opportunity to safely enter the therapeutic process
- groups can have a wide variety of topics and compositions, which allows you to find a circle of people for yourself, and often friends
- group psychotherapy is essentially a testing ground where you can safely and with the support of a professional play out different situations, learning to react or act in a new way
As a psychotherapist, I am constantly recruiting for groups. Follow the announcements on this site, on my Youtube channel, and also in my Telegram channel.
